While it may seem odd that my PhD focused on Restoration Ecology is tightly linked to my bachelor’s degree in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies, I feel the skills and knowledge gained at UD proved critical to my success as a graduate student. Aside from learning to think and communicate clearly and effectively, I gained knowledge on a variety of other topics during my training in Classics that are still quite relevant to my research today.
