Dr. Bruno Thibault, in collaboration with colleagues at the Université de Paris-Sorbonne Nouvelle, Drs. Sabrinelle Bedrane and Bruno Blanckeman, organized an international colloquium on the writer Danièle Sallenave in Paris in January 2015. Sessions were held at the Sorbonne and at the Académie Française, where Ms. Sallenave chaired a round table on the contemporary French novel, featuring the celebrated authors Chantal Thomas, Camille Laurens, and Adrien Bosc. Dr. Deborah Steinberger also represented UD at the conference, presenting a paper on the theater of Danièle Sallenave.
