Dr. Haihong Yang presented the paper “How to Teach Lü Bicheng: Introducing Lü Bicheng in a Chinese Women’s Literature Survey Course” at the Mid-Atlantic Association for Asian Studies Annual Conference in Towson University, MD in October 2016. She also presented at the American Comparative Literature Association Annual Conference, in Boston, Massachusetts in March 2016. The title of her presentation is “Melancholy Harmony: Love-Sickness in Women’s Poems to their Husbands in Late Imperial China.”
