Dr. Iris Busch, Assistant Professor of German, received the University Faculty Senate Excellence in Teaching Award in 2014. This is one of the most competitive and prestigious honors bestowed by the University of Delaware. A University-wide award based on nominations from current and former students, it recognizes faculty members who offer exciting, creative, and demanding courses, and who are also extremely supportive of individual students. Not surprisingly, students admire and respect Dr. Busch, and their success is a testimony to her tireless efforts both inside and outside of the classroom.
