In keeping with tradition, German faculty and students again worked hard to raise a study abroad scholarship for our Winter Session Program in Leipzig during the annual Delaware Sängerbund’s Oktoberfest which took place from September 15 to September 17, 2017.

This year’s raffle prizes included a beach cruiser and two Nascar tickets.
Faculty members Dr. Iris Busch, Dr. Nancy Nobile, Dr. Ester Riehl and seven of our students in German  worked many hours and were able to collect $1500. In addition, one Oktoberfest guest provided a $500 check to support the worthy cause.
