Italian Honors Ceremony 2018
The Italian program held its annual Honors Celebration on May 3rd, 2018 in Perkins Gallery. We were thrilled to recognize the outstanding achievements of our stellar students in Italian and to induct this year’s newest members into Gamma Kappa Alpha, the National Italian Honors Society. Faculty, students, and their families heard an inspiring presentation from Dr. Gaetano Cipolla of St. John’s University on “What Italy Has Given to the World” and were honored to have the Consul General of Italy, Mr. Pier Attinio Forlano, in attendance to speak to the students about the value of Italian in the business world.
