Guilt-ridden mom Paulette promises to cook a meal of chicken and peppers to make up for wrongly punishing her daughter, Linda; with a general strike closing down all of the stores in their area, Linda’s innocent request for a meal that reminds her of her late father turns into a crazy series of antics as Paulette goes to great lengths to keep her promise.
