Patricia, who is a Dominican, is looking for a home and the kind of economic security that her status as an illegal immigrant in Madrid denies her.  Milady is from Havana, Cuba and as a twenty-year-old young woman, she is free to travel the whole world without impediment.  Marirrosi has a job and a house to live in, but lives in complete isolation from those around her, the same isolation that three men from the small town of Santa Eulalia also experience.  Then a party held for people who are single, including a caravan of women, brings them all together for one very telling encounter.
